Dr. Heather Bourdeau graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2003. She went on to complete two post-doctorate residency programs. The first in binocular vision and pediatrics at NECO, the second in low vision, primary eyecare and ocular disease at the Eastern Blind Rehabilitation Center at the West Haven V.A. Medical Center.
After seven years practicing on Cape Cod and the South Shore of Boston, Dr. Bourdeau spent the last ten years practicing in Eastern Pennsylvania. She specializes in visual rehabilitation, low vision, binocular vision, vision therapy, and myopia management.
Dr. Bourdeau recently moved to Hanover with her husband John, and two children, Samantha, and Jack. She loves spending time with her family, and enjoys the natural beauty of the outdoors while hiking, kayaking, and skiing.
Dr. Bourdeau is excited to join White River Family Eyecare and help people of all ages optimize their visual potential in the Upper Valley.
